Rescues and retired adults.....

We occasionally take in rescues both from our local shelter and owner surrendered. All rescue dogs are in good health and will
have their vaccinations/dewormings and temperment assements done by us before being offered for adoption. We offer dogs
that are already altered(spayed or neutered) for free to approved families. Dogs that come to us that are not already spayed
or neutered we adopt out for a small fee that is then refunded once proof of alteration is proven. We used to spay/neuter all
dogs ourselves before they were available for adoption but since we are independent rescuers and not affiliated with any
rescue groups we do not get donations or discount services and it was costing us a few hundred per dog to alter therefore
reducing the number we could take in. Having the new owner spay/neuter to fullful a contract is working better for all parties.
Many cities offer discount clinics therefore making it faster and less expensive to alter a dog. If you have a dog that needs to
be surrendered please contact us, even if we do not have accomadations at the time we will happily refer you to other options.
